Ar Tsant'i - Social Circus

Circus arts can help social oganizations to reach, connect and have a possitive impact on peoples lifes. So when a person experiences the excitement of a phisical activity, throught the perspective of the social and psicological sciences; the possibilities to empower selfconfidence and heal inner wounds, is endless.

Based in Querétaro, México; Ar Tsant'i is a collective made of professionals from different disciplines, working on social and personal issues with the use of circus arts as a medium to connect and engage in deep conversations with others. I met Nanshelli, Mariana and Alejandra, founders of this project, thanks to my previous work with TEPE.

At the begining of this year they invited me to keep record (photo and video) of their iniciative Sembrando Circo (Sowing Circus) which earned the FONCA grant for the Promotion of Cultural Projects and Co-investments. So I have been literally behind their backs chasing them and recording almost all their activities related with this project, from primary schools to villages around the region.

I am honored to be able to participate and collaborate in this project, everytime I see the Collective in action (and others like them) I recover my faith in humanity. Here I share with you some of the photos and video we have done so far this year. Special thanks to Andrés Aguilar ans his troop Tuscactus for their friendship and hospitality at La Circasa
