Majestic trees
It took me a long time to put out the Majestic Trees series, a recolection of some of the most beautiful trees I had encounter over the past three years. The gallery will take you from La Selva Lacandona in Chiapas, to the highlands of Oaxaca, down into the central part of the country in Querétaro, and to the beatiful region of Jalisco.
The name of the series comes from a photo contest with the same name, in which I participated but didn´t make it to the finals. I didn´t want these images to be forgoten, so I decided to share them, as a small gesture of my commitment with nature.
Once I had taken all the photos, choosing the material for the contest was a huge deal. Here is an experimental video and a timelapse I shooted at the Primavera National Park in Guadalajara.
I am lucky and greatful to have the company and support of Laura and Ringo (her dog). Going out with them hunting trees in Querétaro and Jalisco was the best part of this adventure.
I am a content creator and communications strategist doing collaborations with cultural projects, festivals, non-governmental organizations, institutions and commercial clients.
